A. Mielczarek works in the field of large-scale physics experiments since 2010. He received his Ph.D. degree in electronics in 2017. As an experienced hardware developer and a low-level programmer, he took part in the development of control and data acquisition systems for European X-Ray Free-Electron Laser (Eu-XFEL), Piezo Compensation System for European Spallation Source (ESS), as well as video diagnostics systems for FLASH, W7-X and ITER machines.

The works of Mr. Mielczarek are ranging from schematics and PCB design, FPGA and bare-metal microcontroller development, through Linux device drivers and ending on complex GUI applications. Many of his developments were performed in high-reliability high-performance architectures, such as MicroTCA.4 and PXIe.
